The Urban Findings Print Collab brought together a wide group of artists from Asisebenze Art Atelier, including Mariapaola McGurk along with Jan Tshikhuthula, Heidi Fourie, Justice Mathosi, Khahle Chepape Makgato, Lebogang Motaung, Lebohang Sithole, Lehlogonolo Mashaba, Lindo Zwane, Lloyd Maluleke, Mbali Tshabalala, Moloko Mabotja, Mummy Khumalo, Nkhentsani Rihlamfu, Nompumelelo Ngoma, Phillip Mabote, Tawanda MuAfrika, Vivien Kohler, Walter Fumani Maluleke, Patrick Seruwu and Nkosana Nhlapo. The artists came from different hubs and cities, creating a shared picture of contemporary artistic thinking.

 

The exhibition explored the idea of urban findings, bringing together fragments and impressions of city life. It encouraged artists to experiment and respond freely, resulting in a rich mix of perspectives rather than a single story.
